NGC 3324 in NB
Haven't done much lately, but managed to get some 5 hours of narrowband data on NGC3324 over past 2 nights. Popularly known as the Gabriel Mistral Nebula for a likeness to the famous Chilean poet, the wider field has much interest as well, NGC 3293 is a stunning open cluster on the right of the image, sometimes called the Pendant, it rivals NGC4755 (the Jewelbox) as a highlight of the southern sky. The the left is the south western extension of the Eta Carina nebula, that has some of the most interesting structures in the entire area. 20 x 300s of each of SII, Ha and OIII mapped as SHO. Taken with an ASI1600MM Pro camera, Astrodon NB Filters (Ha 5nm, SII and OIII 3nm) and ZWO 36mm filter wheel with my Stellarvue SVR102T refractor with 0.8 reducer running on an Orion Atlas AZ/EQ G mount. Guiding with ASI290MM guidescope, ZWO OAG and PHD2, captured with SGP and processed in PI.
