Lightbridge 16 inch -

Although I have listed a fully negotiable price below - I will now consider all offers

Due to downsizing I have to let my best scope go. This has been my window to the Kosmos for a few years, sadly I can only keep a couple of smaller scopes.

The optics are superb-Acclimation with a scope this size is critical-
This scope is made for deep sky and you can clearly discern color on nebulae, and you have never seen Omega Centauri as this scope shows it -

Planetary details, especially Jupiter and Saturn, just pop - the resolution and sharpness is amazing.

Of course, with a scope this size, the moon is so bright it's blinding.

It is not a massive scope like many say - I have found it to be easily maneuverable and easy to set up. Collimation is a breeze with a laser collimator, and I have replaced the original flimsy collimation screws.

Details :
1. The mount still looks new-All bearings are smooth and comes with rollers
for transport
2. Truss tubes have been covered with neoprene tubes .
3. The original primary mirror cover is included as is the custom made
telescope cover and fabric cap.
4. The scope comes with a 50mm finder and does not suffer from over-
balancing.
5. Takes both 50mm and 1.25inch eyepieces via the adapter included
6 Focuser is superb -
7. Minor paint scratches and chips have been touched up - Imperfectly but
the metal is protected
8. New Farpoint collimation screws and springs have been fitted

I am asking $2800- Price is negotiable
