29th Dec Solar images

29th Dec. Cloudy this morning but I managed to get a few images of the Sun thru gaps in the clouds. Sunspot activity has been fairly low but there are numerous filaments and flares. First image is at 540 nm to show the sunspots. Second and third images are at Ha wavelength (656 nm) to show the filaments, prominences and flares. The long filament in the second image is about 420,000 km in length. All images are single exposures with a Canon 550d camera.
