Been thinking about selling my 12" Dobsonian to fund some other gear so putting up an EOI. I would very much like to keep this but I have very little room to store it.

This was purchased one year ago (used) & it's Bintels older version of the scope.

Primary mirror is in above average condition. Originally it was assumed the mirror would require a recoat but after contacting a professional mirror recoating service in Australia they said it doesn't look too bad and may not need it.
They advised me to test it first before considering a recoat.
I tested the scope over 4 nights on the Moon and Jupiter and the views looked great. Secondary mirror is fine so based on my observations the telescope is usable and I won't be recoating the mirror (at least for a long while).

There is a dint on the underside of the tube but doesn't effect use. Holds collimation OK (did this with a laser collimator which I will include).

As I intended this to be a "project scope" by taking it apart, cleaning it, checking all screws, etc but I have other priorities.

- 2x Eyepieces 25mm, 9mm
- Right angle finder
- Laser collimator
- Top dust cover
- Battery pack for fan
- Original foam inserts
- Dob base

This telescope can be used as is but can also be a great project for someone to bring it back to prestine condition.

Again, based on my opinion I think its current condition is usable!
