I published an LRGBHa version of this field in November last year
[link here to Astrobin] and have now grabbed OIII and SII to produce this narrowband rendition. I think that the scene tells a story of a epoch long fight between the dragons and the superior dragon is now flying in to the scene from above and seriously getting on top of its adversary.
From a technical (and less romantic) perspective, this is a four panel mosaic of the area surrounding the emission nebula NGC6188 taken with a Tak TSA120 OTA and QSI683 CCD camera. The OIII and SII data were captured this year and the Ha data captured in 2021 and 2022. Mosaic composition was completed entirely in Pixinsight using the Mosaic by Coordinates and Photometric Mosaic processes.
