The field flattener makes this guidescope dual purpose. It can be used for guiding or as an ultra portable imaging scope suitable for a star tracker. Most of the time I found myself using it with my star adventurer and my QHY183M camera.

I also found a lens hood with a compression ring that fits perfectly and did a surprisingly good job with dew prevention which was well below average before I added it.
