For a more cost effective route (as cost effective as it gets with Tele Vue)... you could always select a longer focal length Tele Vue Plossl (for comfortable eye relief), and pair it with one or preferably both Tele Vue barlows for a range of magnifications. That would be the most affordable entry into Tele Vue optical quality... Which particular Tele Vue Plossl would depend on your telescopes focal length and aperture to begin with...
