Mate, you have done well really. I have disassembled my NEQ6 due to backlash issues, I know how much of a pain it can be to get them back together and working well.
Even with the issues you had with your mount your stars are not that bad, your star colour is great. The nebulosity is nicely brought out, but not over worked. The colours are subtle and visible across the whole image, the purples in there make it pop. You can even see the black regions very well.
Not every image needs to blast out of the screen, sometimes images like this show quality and attention to detail.
So yeah I reckon its a bloody good image.
