Great images, Peter. You’ve already captured some of the subtle detail in the reflection nebula and more data will help make it even better. It’s always a personal choice but I’m def in the ‘it needs stars’ camp and think the 2nd image looks more natural. Like you, I tend to play with the stars until their inclusion looks about right, ie. star field is present and obvious without being a distraction. Hence why I usually (but not alway) process stars separately to the target - you obviously do the same. Btw, I love the gear you used … esprit 150 + 2600mc <drool>
