Another 1st from the north - Veil Nebula

A second target that's not really a good proposition from home that went well from Proston QLD is NGC6992, the (East) Veil Nebula. This was captured over several nights in Ha & O3, mainly using 5 minute subs but also a night of 15 minute subs. Combined as a bi-colour image in ASTAP, I then combined the red & blue channels to synthesis the green.

I was hoping to get a wider view of the full east & west nebulae but sadly the last two nights there I got clouded out.

Saxon 102mm triplet @ F5.6 (SvBony 0.8x flattener/reducer)
ASI294MM Pro @ -10°C
Antlia 3nm OIII & Ha filters
SW EQ6-R Pro
Guide scope: 50mm Orion Mini w/ASI120mm-S
