That’s certainly a big achievement, especially in the big Apple.
It’s a shame Motocross doesn’t get the media exposure in Australia like it does in the US , all motor sport is huge in the US

My only connection with motor bikes was when I started my first job at 17 as an apprentice electrician with a large contractor , I couldn’t afford to buy a car , so my older brother who rode a Honda 250 4 stroke trail bike had a mate who was selling his motorbike. It was a Yamaha DT250 trail bike ( silver tank ) and I decided to buy it for $80 ( I think ) this was in 1977. It served me well for 2 years until I bought a car
I haven’t sat on or ridden a motorbike since. Too bloody dangerous in a big City like Sydney.
