It definitely suffers from the cheerleader effect this one, just up the road from the amazing prawn The framing was part of the reason I went with this target, really fits well into my fov.
I did try a little harder on star colour this time and used a mix of arcsinh and GHS stretching which I think balanced out the edge softening you usually get with arcsinh. Thanks for noticing It was a good learning experience for me with continuum subtraction and I'll definitely be doing some more HaRGB images in future!


Youre absolutely right Dave, I been checking out the Milky Way Explorer website and the Ha survey data they have there. If you're willing to spend some decent integration time, theres quite a bit of good stuff off the beaten track to be had I imagine you'd run amok with your hyperstar setup
