Given up on all versions of PEC, at least for now. I find that with the mount based PEC my guiding would go to hell when on the opposite side of the pier to where it was trained - probably due to the change from setting up east heavy which becomes west heavy after a flip. And with PPEC in PHD2 I found a similar issue with it issuing guide commands in the wrong direction on occasions making things worse rather than better.
So just back to the basics at least for now.
