Todays loop prominence- 13th May 2023

Caught this around 2.15 this afternoon as the clouds cleared, originally had the PST set up and could just make out the start of a few loops in a prominence on the westtern edge of the sun. Took out the Lunt 100 scope and spent about an hour sketching and watching this prom unfold, quite spetacular visually. The sketches were drawn as seen through a Pentax 3.5mm eyepiece (204x). The last sketch is somewhat incomplete ( the long prom to the left was starting to arc towards the other prom). As I was sketching it the clouds covered the sun, and by the time the clouds had moved, the sun was behind a tree, but think I got most of the main show. This was sketched as seen from Sydney.
