Hi Mike,

It's good to be back imaging in some way shape or form. The solar stuff is fun as well. Checked out the software you mentioned, all seems to work with Pixinsight. Looks like it makes things easier, which will save time.

Just wondering what I would be left with after star and noise exterminator on this image though!

Looking forward to getting some data to try the software out on! I assume that quality data is still required.

I was going to discuss the current plan, but I'll push that over to another forum for you to comment on as this one's for images.

Sounds promising regarding your shift in commitments, hope you get to utilise the change to the full ....things have changed in the image processing World though, namely (if you aren't already aware) Blur, Star and Noise Exterminator by R. Croman ...kind'a changed the face of imaging really...
