M83 with a 4 inch scope.

With several clear nights over the past week, I managed just over 3 hrs integration on M83 using an Esprit 100 and a Asi 224mc. A cooled camera would have helped reduce the noise but the light pollution gradients were more of an issue to contend with in a Bortle 6 sky. LRGB imaging is not easy under such conditions. It was fun trying!

PS. I've added a shot of Omega Centauri taken before M83 rose above the treeline.
