Sun images from Melbourne 25 April 2023

A second beautiful autumn morning in a row without clouds - a miracle https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/e...1/16/1f642.png
Again some better seeing though not as consistent as yesterday after it had settled.
Today all of the larger proms had dissipated. There was a surge prom on the western limb near the exiting AR3282.
Full disk two panel mosaic in Ha.
Full disk in 393nm.
Active regions AR3288 and AR3285 in 540nm with an Earth for scale. The umbra of the large sunspot in AR3285 is around the same size as the Earth. A bit mind blowing!
Some Ha close ups taken with the 72ED.
