height of Scorpio
Hi, I need to find out when Scorpio will be about 45 Degrees above the horizon at 7:00PM. Guessing it will be late june or July.
Am planning a second "Astronomy in the Bible" topic sub-titled "The Sting of the Scorpion," borrowing that title from a book with that name.
will be planning on running it 7-10 days after new moon, on a night that Scorpio is about 45 degree high in the east,
I do use Stellarium, but have not worked out how to find how high constellations are above the horizon. need that hight as where I plan to have the program has talk trees.
