The Optec Lepus 0.62x Telecompressor is a 4-element universal focal reducer for telescopes with 2" focusers. This version is specifically for the 9.25", 11" and 14" Celestron EdgeHD telescopes for deep sky astrophotography.

The Lepus provides a well-corrected field up to 28mm in diameter, making it suitable for use with APS-C sensors and smaller. The Lepus can deliver a vignetting-free image circle up to 22mm, with minimal light fall off above that. Flat-field calibration is recommended for larger sensors.

The Lepus can be used with a wide range of imaging train configurations. The reducer includes a 2" barrel which has an internal M48 x 0.75 thread for 2" filters.
