Sort of sad, an end of an era from my old 35mm Nikon film cameras to my D80 and D810.
I stayed with Nikon because I had a reasonable collection of F lenses which are compatible with Nikon digital and Nikon mirrorless with an adapter I believe but I can neither afford a new mirrorless camera or new lenses.
Hopefully my D810 I bought used will last me for years.
Though mirrorless does excite me with the lack of weight, especially attached to the back of a telescope.
I suppose if I was going to spend anywhere near that money for astronomy I'd go with a dedicated astro camera.
