Nice image, but I'd dump the filter and just use a faster shutter speed and/or lower ISO. Capture 20-30 full sized frames in quick succession and stack the images in AutoStakkert, then you'll be able to apply some sharpening and contrast enhancement in Registax/Photoshop/Gimp etc.
