Hi Paul,
that's a beautiful picture.
I wish the whole sky could be done like that -
at least from Orion over to the Flame Nebula.


One small thing - only important for pixel peepers -
I noticed it too on your Pleiades picture - and NGC2170 picture -
there seems to be "black wedges" on your very bright stars.
I wonder what is causing that?
Could it be aperture vignetting as per here?
