Nothing to add here except a UV/IR cut filter. 50x40secs, 1600 iso, 500mm f8 Tamron Mirror lens, modded Canon 550d on an iOptron Sky tracker. Set up time 15mins, 40mins later, grab the whole lot in one hand, including the tripod and carry it inside. I was lucky enough to have good seeing and transparency this night before the moon rose in a Bortle 6 sky.
