[Averton (P and C)]

It was forecast to be a sunny morning again so we started imaging as soon as the sun cleared the neighbour's place and fence. Interestingly this turned out to be not the right decision as the seeing was not good and steadily improved over the first hour. The average for the session was 2.6 arc seconds with a standard deviation of 1.1.
This morning we tried a different set up for our full disk Ha, still using the Solar Scout 60 double stacked with the front mounted 40mm Lunt etalon, but using the ASI174MM instead of the ASI178MM. This meant that we did not need the 0.5x reducer, but the disk doesn't quite fit in a single image. So the final image is a two panel mosaic. We feel that this created a more even disk without the vignetting issues caused by the reducer.

We took a full disk in 393nm, using 72ED stopped down to 50mm and the ASI178MM. Plenty of active regions and sun spots visible.
