See photos of my 8” ( a year or so ago down the coast ) now upgraded to 10”

I’m taking the 8” back to Sydney and retrofitting with another Carbon fibre tube ( the 6” is temporarily being retired )

My TS Optics GPU coma corrector is a huge thing ( lead weight ) I reckon it would weigh the same as a filter wheel , so my 2600MC , CC plus guide scope and camera is probably heavier than your 2600MM , Filter wheel , mini guide camera and OAG !!

I’ve used a guide scope for years on my 8” newt ( 1000mm fl ) and it guides beautifully using the 60mm guide scope and ZWO290MM , an OAG scares the crap out of me , I’ve even got the same guide scope on my big 10” Newt and she guides beautifully ( focal length 1280mm )

The weight shouldn’t be an issue , just take time balance Dec then Ra and good to go

Sorry can’t help you with an OAG ….. I went guide scope and no issues at all , OAG not for me

Hope other folk chime in to help

Best
Martin
Thanks for your support Martin it is most welcome.

I never thought of OAG but then I did. It all started thinking longer focal lengths...And to be honest I get confused and do some silly things sometimes...perhaps this is one of those times...

Your stuff sure looks great.
