You would normally expect to get away with just the one supply if you are using the 2.1mm jacks on the back of the CEM70 saddle via the CEM70 power input. It is just not the best practice. Some gear is sensitive to noise and a slewing mount can upset it, most will be fine.

Just be aware if you make up cables that the run of the mill 2.1 and 2.5mm connectors you can buy (And the pre made cables from places like Jaycar) usually have a solid centre conductor in the plug (It is just a tube effectively) where better quality connectors have spring contacts instead. The spring contacts make much more reliable connections than the solid ones.
