That's quite an interesting read. Not only is it making life difficult for astronomers, but it's also affecting the natural biological processes of life in the oceans. It's something that no doubt needs to be studied further, but unfortunately I don't see it being a priority for this fast food, profit-oriented, everything on demand now world of ours - until it's too late.
