Thanks for the kind comments, what I find most fascinating is the ever changing play of light and shadow from 1 day to the next and so on.
As for the variability in the seeing, when Jupiter was only 10/15 deg from the moon that night, I can only put it down to Mono vs OSC, maybe. Or that the seeing changed in the time that I changed cameras and targets.
Has been a poor planet season for me from this location, mostly weather related of course, have been hoping to get at least one decent night on Mars, as the next 3 or 4 oppositions are not favourable for us in the southern hemisphere.
