Europa shadow transit of Jupiter 1 December 2022

It was really a bit crazy trying to image again so early (in daylight) and with so many clouds going across the sky. We were compelled to try because we knew about three other people in Melbourne trying at the same time so there was impetus to capture something. The attraction for the night was that there was a Europa shadow transit following the GRS across the face of Jupiter. To be followed by a Ganymede transit.

We took lots of video between the clouds, most of which was useless and ended up with these three images of the Europa shadow transit. We gave up and packed up before Ganymede got to the limb. The laugh is on us as apparently things did clear up a bit later on for others. You win some, you lose some
