Alex,
Sorry hear your having trouble with colour in ST
A couple of things first
1/ After stacking in DSS your not touching the RGB colour adjustments in DSS ?
Startools requires clean linear untouched data from DSS ( no fiddling ) just save stacked file as a fits file ready for Startools
2/ When using the Mono camera are you leaving the box “unchecked” in DSS > Settings > Fits Tab > Monochrome 16bit fits files ? You only check this box when using a Colour OSC camera
3/ When using a Mono camera are you loading your RGB and Ha data sets into Compose correctly under each channel ? Then selecting the correct compositing scheme ? You shouldn’t have to touch the exposure sliders on the right as ST will create a Synthetic Luminance file from your RGB data set weighted correctly. If you captured Luminance just load it in the Lum slot at the top and so on with RGB

I don’t think your issue is in the colour module , I tend to think it’s to do with loading your data sets into Compose correctly. Also understanding how Compose works. I’ve attached the link to Compose so you can determine what’s best for your data sets and where/ how to load them
I can think of a few more things regarding colour but that’s enough for now
Hope the above and attached helps
Cheers
Martin
