I am as excited as the next person about this and I watched the launch live this afternoon but I have to say the launch footage was a little disappointing really
I was expecting much better coverage and angles and somehow a more dramatic looking event
...? The footage of Saturn 5 launches was incredible. Perhaps the appearance of the Saturn 5 vehicle itself is more impressive, more aesthetic to look at and I think being a night launch probably didn't help either but still, it was a little underwhelming as a spectacle
even shuttle launches were much more impressive..?
Anyway, all still very exciting what with returning to the Moon and all and the sheer power of the SLS is impressive
