Posting my latest image being a four panel mosaic surrounding the emission nebula NGC6188 captured with my Tak TSA120 and QSI683 CCD. I've oriented the image slightly differently to most presentations as I like the large expanse of nebulosity that looks like a giant pair of wings extended through space. This composition is with RGB, Ha and Luminance filters with most of the data captured in April/May this year. Some of the Ha data was captured last year in 2021.
I think that this area does actually present better in narrowband but conditions being what they are I was lucky to be able to capture sufficient data for this image. I will definitely be re-visiting this next year to capture OIII/SII data for narrowband mosaic. Should be fun to be sure.
This now means that I have totally run out of new data to process so it will be sometime before I can present a new image. I may have to resort to trawling through the archives and see what I have can dust off and bring to life again
