A Royal Air Ministry large format aerial camera lens
This is a collectors item 8" f/2.9 WW2 aerial lens most likely made by Ross of London.
All the thread are unstuck so there is access to all the internal lens surfaces for cleaning.
It features an impressive iris diaphragm.
