You’ve every reason to be very proud of your Grandad, mine was Mormon, one of Australia’s first and married to a German nation, he was a conscientious objectors. All of his sons Served in WWII including of course my father.

Hi David. Thanks for your kind comments. I am proud of him and you have made me feel that more. I love those two photos. He has a competent bearing and looks to be a man to rely on. Yes it was a particularly terrible war and my mother said that he was affected. When he returned he didn't talk much and was almost deaf from gunfire.
