it can happen if you are not alert at the time and can do some serious damage ,mine did the same thing one night but before it crashed into the mount one of my cables caught on the mount but it was still tracking it was so tight it stopped the motor and scored one of the bearings ,i have just stripped it down and replaced it all good now but a lesson learnt
