Thanks Carl, I'm feeling very happy about it, no regrets. I have quite a bit of work ahead of me, making suitable tripod adaptors, I'd like to get it working with Stellarium and also try out the Snap port connection to control the DSLR shutter, it might save buying an intervalometer.
