Carl, I wasn't aware Skywatcher had made any improvements, other than a firmware upgrade, as it hasn't really been out that long? It should, however, be more than adequate for my needs as I've realised that in my situation I don't need a heavy mount.
Rod, the price is certainly attractive, for a go-to equ. mount, but then so is the EQ35 at not a lot more, if the price differential was greater then the decision would be easier.
I'm trying to figure out what the differences are, operationally, between the two, what makes one a better mount than the other. One comes with a tripod, which is irrelevant to me, and one comes with a control handset, probably not necessary but nice to have. Payload appears to be the most significant difference?
This is making my brains hurt........
