Sun images from Melbourne 16 October 2022

Its been a week since we imaged the sun. Some pretty bad weather has occurred in that time causing a lot of people much damage and heartache.
We feel fortunate to be able to enjoy viewing and imaging today. The clouds didn't clear until later in the afternoon, so the seeing was average but the solar activity was spectacular. There was a towering prominence in the north west with a filaprom walking across and off the disk in the same region. There was a lovely arch prom in the south west and a furry beard filaprom due south
Full disk Ha image taken with Daystar Solar Scout 60 double stacked with Lunt 40 etalon, ASI178MM camera and 0.5 reducer.
