Since I acquired and then processed this image before sun up in a somewhat sleepless stupor on Friday morning, I have managed to squeeze just a little more out of my NGC 1097 image
. The HII regions are a little more evident and it is slightly sharper.

The pleasing thing is that I could actually get this from my new wonderfully light poluted skies near Central Canberra
However an hour or so more of data wouldn't have gone astray of course.
