Great pic and and interesting discussion too. Me and Winjupos don’t get along that well either, but I’ve heard it said that you only benefit to derotate the whole video if in alt-az. Otherwise derotating the image will work. Id be extremely surprised if a change in focus would produce any measurable change in focal length. But changing backspacing and then the subsequent refocus would definitely do it.
