M54 Extragalactic Globular Cluster

M54 Extragalactic Globular Cluster
Taken on the new moon of August at our favourite dark sky site, this was from one of 3 nights of imaging. It was blowing a gale however I had constructed a temporary observatory with conduit and tarps that worked pretty well to keep the guidance within parameters. I did move the caravan at around 11:00 5 meters to add in the wind break requirements!
The image scale at 4º x 2º so its a tad small but still getting to know what works with the William Optics Grand Terismo 71.
After viewing a few Extralgalactic Globular Clusters of Andromeda a few years back at QLD Astrofest I am drawn to these distant citizens. This one would be one of the brightest in that class. A member of the Sagittarius Dwarf galaxy the star field is extremely dense. At 86000 light years distant it has an extremely bright absolute magnitude of -9.53.
Awe and Wonder Folks!!
