Ive been observing using my 12” Goto dob and high end Televue eye piece collection for about 5 years now
I’ve never used any cleaning fluids , spray ,isopropyl alcohol , lens pens or similar on my TV eye pieces and Powermates
I buy quality microfibre cloths from my Optometrist
Just a few quick blasts with my hurricane blower and a light wipe and their clean, no chance of any fluid chemicals affecting the coatings or leak behind the lens seals.
I only use the MF cloth once on either side and then bin it
