I was looking at this Quark Gemini that seems to incorporate both the prominence and chromosphere models into one.

As a solution it looks like a good way to incorporate into an existing telescope, rather than buy a dedicated solar scope with much smaller aperture.
Thing is I'd be looking to use it on my Esprit 120ED which I feel could be a little on the 'too big' side, both in terms of aperture and focal length (it sits at 840mm).
I know an Apo is not required for Ha solar viewing, but it's the scope I have.
I'm wondering if the Quark accepts 2" EP's because I feel this may be necessary to get a full disk with that scope.
Then there's binoviewing. How does the longer light path work with a Daystar Quark and achieving focus?
I also read the quality is very variable. How do I know what to look out for so I can determine if I have a 'bad' one?
