Thank you gentlemen.

The seeing was perhaps the best I have experienced in years of dampness but I would like to give special thanks to Martin ( Startreck) for his help in general and specifically for his assistance with processing advice on the finer points when using Startools.

And I think it is worthwhile to recognise that ( particularly with this incomplete data set) a little " cheating" with Photoshop can help produce a result from incomplete data.

I feel adding a blue hue helped take the edge of the blandness of my mono image and some gentle use of the burn tool in Photoshop on the detail gave it a little 3d type effect...at least on my screen...

The pity was the data was gathered on the third night of imaging and after two days of little sleep I had to stop gathering data ( so tired I did not remember Asiair could have gone on a little longer with out me) at around midnight ..I just could not face doing just two manual filter changes and sadly gave up and went to bed...just another two hours of red and green I think would have seen a rather decent result given the quality of the seeing.

The major limitation of using the RASA with a mono camera is the necessity to change filters via a drawer. It really is impractical. I have to remove the dew shield, take out one filter put It away and replace it with another filter..now I am very careful but I notice my filters are becoming marked and "dirty" so care does not prevent degradation it seems.

I have removed the mono camera and replaced it with the OSC and will buy a filter wheel and place the mono camera on the 115 mm which is not exactly what I had in mind but I think a sensible compromise. Shortly the two additional Asiairs will arrive and with the change I will be able to run all three setups and sleep all night..hard to imagine really but it wont be long now.

Thanks again.
Alex
