Sun images from Melbourne 22 September 2022

This morning was at least clear of clouds but unfortunately the seeing was very variable. We did manage to capture enough good frames in white light to make 6" of aperture just work. So we have a comparison of white light and Ha for AR 3102 and then again for regions AR3107, AR3105 and AR3108.

White light images taken with 6" SCT, 1.8x barlow, ASI178MM and 540nm filter.
Full disk Ha image taken with Daystar Solar Scout 60 double stacked with Lunt 40 etalon, ASI178MM camera and 0.5 reducer.
Close up Ha image taken with 72ED, Solar Scout Quark and ASI178MM.
