[Mickoid (Michael)]

Got out Monday night with cloud building. Managed to polar align before Octans got wiped out with cloud. The planet was shaking around like jelly before it too disappeared behind cloud. I was about to pack everything away when I noticed the cloud begining to break up a little. The GRS was to be over the meridian at 12.04am local time so I waited to see if conditions improved. The cloud disappeared but Jupiter was still wobbling around. At about 12.20am it started to settle down and remained fairly steady for about 20mins. I took the opportunity to grab a few frames during this period. Taken with the ASI224mc through an 8 inch Newt with a 5x Powermate.
