Alex,
A fine Galaxy image with all things considered
Pavo Galaxy does have an immense Star field , most other galaxies have sparse Star fields but this one is unusually dense
In Startools you can manage or reduce the dense Star field using a few things like -
Shrink ( use a Star mask ) where stars are green or sampled
Super Structure ( dim small preset ) use an inverted Star mask where stars are unsampled or normal
Super Structure ( isolate preset ) use an inverted Star mask where stars are unsampled or normal
