read a great article a while back which stated that the planet is still emerging from a mini ice age from around the 15 th century or so .We started keeping accurate records of climatic conditions a couple hundred years back which
showed a steady increase of temps over a long period .. jump forward to the early part of the 20th century and a spike starts to appear in this steady increase.. likely due to the beginning of the industrial age . So we arn't entirely to blame for climate change ,but sure arn't doing anything either to slow things up a little .

The bigger picture of things is sure a tad worrying , aside the the polar melts
equatorial ice caps are increasing .. dramitic climate change around
the central part of the planet where all the huge populations are
makes it hard to fathom all of the consequences.
