A few years ago I was following an online auction for a piece of Apollo memorabilia. It was a US flag, printed on beta cloth, that had flown around the moon in the Apollo 8 command module and was signed by all 3 astronauts. It sold for $7500. I guess movie props are way more popular.
Give me Mercury/Gemini/Apollo memorabilia anytime and I am a huge Star Wars 1977 original (pre Lucas stuffing it up) cut fan. I saw an exhibition of Star Wars movie props at the Powerhouse Museum in the 90's .. lets just say if this "Blaster" is the same quality as these props (e.g.Luke Skywalkers Binoculars) it's not worth $30 let alone $300K.
