Leon, I’ve had a long career in banking. Do not use the internet browser (whether it’s InternetExplorer or Google) on your phone to do your banking. ONLY use your bank’s app. Most people have a few passwords which are used over & over again for various logins. My banking password is unique - I use it only for my banking login and nothing else.
As others have said, never click on a link to access your banking - ONLY use you bank’s app.
Stay safe out there, the scams are getting more sophisticated lately.
